Introduction: Pharmacological neuroenhancement (PN) is a topic of increasing importance and prevalence among students. However, there lack differentiating PN substances, according to their psychoactive effects. In particular, data about by caffeinated drinks, even if coffee common broadly used Neuroenhancer because its cognitively enhancing effects regarding wakefulness, alertness concentration. Materials Methods: A web-survey was developed for German students alumni the non-medical use caffeine contained questions coffee, drinks energy pills methylxanthine tea frequency further contextual factors. Results: Six hundred eighty-three participants completed survey. Nearly all knew (97.7%). 88.1% admitted using some over-the-counter substances. For purposes, 72.9% followed (68.2%) cola (62.4%). Methylxanthine containing too (black 52.3%, green 51.7%). 1.8% illegal substances or prescription drugs, too. Discussion: Using legal seems be extremely with being preferred while drugs are only minimally used. Further studies should investigate awareness as well character flavoring drink neuroenhancer.
